Over the weekend, the JCSA Strikers finished first in the boys 2007/White division at the EDP Spring Classic. The squad emerged as winners after two days of competition at the Green Branch Park in Pittsgrove, NJ. Jersey City Strikers finished first in their group, and proceeded to defeat Princeton FC Liverpool Black 4-2 in the final. JC Strikers began the tournament with a 2-1 against Baltimore Celtic SC-North on Saturday. In their second game on Saturday, the Strikers beat Jersey Shore Boca Jr FC by
a score of 3-0. On Sunday, the team concluded group play with a 2-0 against Centercourt FC CFC. With a 3-0-0 record in group play, JCSA advanced to the bracket championship game, where the JC Strikers earned a 4-2 win over FC Liverpool Black to claim the title. The tournament, which was organized by EDP, included a total of 475 teams competing at three locations across New Jersey.
